Conference Overview

The IP Cable Conference will bring together all of the top Global Cable Operators to discuss future challenges, business models and migration options for moving to IP. The conference follows on from Informa Telecoms & Media’s IP&TV World Forum 2011. This event was a huge success and featured a stream dedicated to IP Cable which saw a consistently high number of attendees. Delivering a unified TV experience to consumers is becoming a crucial part of Cable Operator’s strategy. As customers increasingly require ubiquitous access and quality of service whenever and wherever so the need for operators to evolve increases. Incorporating IP into their offerings will allow operators to provide the kind of interactive and personalised services users will increasingly come to expect. Cable companies are embracing IP as the gateway to new business opportunities, greater flexibility, advanced functionality and improved customer experience. This event will provide a unique forum for cable operators and vendors to come together and understand the role of IP in enhancing and ultimately monetizing services. Some of the Cable Operators featured on the agenda will be as follows: Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Cablevision Systems, Bright House Networks, Liberty Global, Zon Multimedia, Ono, YouSee, Net Serviços, Kabel Deutschland, Telenet, Virgin Media, Welho, CAiW, Starhub, SK Broadband, Asianet Communications, Incablenet, KDDI Japan
